Corner View- October

Today's Corner View's theme is "October". I had plans to get up this morning and take some stunning photos of turning fall foliage. But it's raining. So, I thought I would share some October pics from last year. Every October my son and daughter in law take my grandson to a local pumpkin patch. I tag along every year, too, because we always have a great time! We will be making this year's excursion this Saturday. There is a corn maze..

The pumpkin patch...

...and some miniature donkeys and horses.

What do we do with all the pumpkin? One thing we like to do is make Pumpkin Biscotti! Happy fall, ya'll!

Corner View is a weekly appointment, created by Jane, now hosted by Francesca at Fuoriborgo. Visit to find links to Corner Views in other corners of the world!

there aren't too many pumpkins here and they're not that big either. i'd love to be able to take my son to a pumpkin patch.
enjoy your trip this weekend!

The pumpkin patch should always be an annual destination. Much more fun than picking one up at the grocery store!

Enjoy the maze! But don't get lost - I saw on CNN this morning that a family got lost in one in MA and called 911 to rescue them.

This looks like a great fun. And the pumpkin biskuit sounds delicious.

i don't know why but very few people eat pumpkins and the like here. i guess they think it's just for animals and to decorate the house. so we are not used to the pumpkin taste. at least we use the seeds and their oil - yummmmm.

this is the second time i read about the corn maze. wish we had those. they sound creepy (or that could be just me, being a scaredy cat anyway).

We've been to a maze once or twice. Never got lost, but we did get caught up in a storm whilst navigating our way out. That was no fun...

I love all recipes with pumpkin.
